Private equity firm Coniston Capital has taken a minority stake in national advice business MWA Financial in exchange for an injection of growth capital.
MWA Financial has acquired London-based Sterling Financial Consultants and Cornwall-based The Financial Advice Centre. The deals are the first to be completed by MWA Financial since it secured substantial long-term funding from alternative finance provider ThinCats in March.
