of the voters out there. and trump talked to that voter that was very unhappy. he sure did, joe, because he made his campaign all about jobs. yeah. and he also made it about twitter. i mean look, what we saw was not just first of all, ed and i talked a year ago. we all would have agreed that if trump had won it would have been the biggest should be the biggest news of 2016. and it is. the second of all, it s clear that the change in media environment, and his understanding of social media, and how to keep his, you know, what he wanted in front and center and have mainstream media pick it up, was a bold stroke that worked for him. and i think we re going to see it looking forward, in his presidency for sure. how much of it was, though, that she was a flawed candidate? i mean do you think things would have been different had president obama pushed somebody else forward? or had the democratic party not
starting tomorrow are going to be so essential going forward about momentum. and also as you noted many voters think that much of this election has been defined by you know the name calling back and forth, and not really a thorough discussion of the issues. what each of these candidates stand for. so this is a chance for both of them to really grab reins of the narrative, and this final big national stage and define themselves and their candidacy going forward. and that s going to be really important for the closing stretch for each of them. all right. so, dan, i ll pose this question to you. this is why it s so important that mr. trump at least convinces much of the country that he s fit to be president. because ed rawlins that chaired the pro-donald trump super pac on tuesday he said it would take a miracle for trump to win, and here s why. a new poll shows clinton is up five points in arizona. five points in arizona. that s a solidly republican state.

we re talking about this with our panel, ed rawlins, jennifer miller anthony scaramucci. the right move? obviously, if the governor and mayor feel that the city is safe we ll have to wait and see. my sense is that the indictments calm the city. they may be incorrect, but they calm the city but they certainly aren t calming the police department. let s look ahead here for a second. you ve got the jobs number out next friday. that is the april jobs report. analysts will try to read the tea leaves in terms of what this tells us about the economy. a lot of economic data as well after an anemic gdp report showing that the economy grew in the first quarter at an annual annualized rate of 0.2%. it was virtually zero growth. you ve got a big conference next week anthony scaramucci. people like chuck hagel, general alexander, jack keene all speaking at your conference. dr. ben bernanke as well. i think that will be a big topic, about where rates will be given where the gdp is right now. n
