Shelley a fiery crash in henniker this afternoon leaves one person dead and sent another person to the hospital by helicopter. Good evening i m shelley , walcott. Route 202 is now open but police shut it down for hours as they try to figure out exactly how the crash happened. Wmur s mike cronin joins us live from henniker with the latest information. Mike Police Spent Hours analyzing the scene. Before they got there several people were trying to help the person who was inside that vehicle on fire. Tonight we spoke with one of them. Witnesses describe a chaotic scene as Good Samaritans tried to help someone trapped in a car on fire. Video shows one man spraying the engine with a fire extinguisher. People were running around, grabbing fire extinguishers, water, anything they could to help. Yeah, there s someone in there.
