Ted Farron, who owned Farron's Gourmet Butcher in South Windsor for decades, passed away Saturday at the age of 83.
Outside of running the business, Farron was known for his generosity. He was involved in various fundraisers from hospice to the Downtown Mission. And he helped get the medical school started here in Windsor.
CBC Windsor spoke with some who knew him best, his son Eric Farron and friend John Fairley.
