U.S. Congressman Ted Deutch
U.S. Rep. Ted Deutch signed on Thursday to a move to expel U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene from the House of Representatives.
Greene’s “really disgusting” comments show why she should not be in the House of Representatives, Deutch said.
Another South Florida Democrat, U.S. Rep. Lois Frankel, said “many members of Congress are afraid to be in the building with her.”
Rep. Greene denied the school shooting in Parkland & insulted the memory of the 17 murdered. She attacked brave student leaders fighting for their lives.
She shouldn’t have a public platform to further spread dangerous lies.
Barricaded in a small room and spooked by noises from the outside, U.S. Rep. Lois Frankel calmly said the mob of President Trump’s supporters that descended on the Capitol on Wednesday would not deter her or other lawmakers from certifying the election of President-elect Joe Biden.
When asked if she was safe at about 4 p.m., the former West Palm Beach mayor said: “I hope so. I don’t know.” The West Palm Beach Democrat said she had to speak very softly and could not disclose her location in the Capitol.
The mayhem, disorder and violence seen during the almost daylong occupation of the U.S. Capitol followed an inflammatory speech by Trump earlier Wednesday outside the White House. The president told the crowd that the election had been rigged by radical Democrats and the fake news media.

TALLAHASSEE â For weeks, prominent Republican lawmakers in Florida were silent while President Donald Trump spread baseless conspiracy theories about the presidential election he lost.
On Wednesday, while Congress debated whether to certify the statesâ election results, a Trump-supporting mob stormed the U.S. Capitol. At least one person was injured as scores pushed past a police barrier, and entered the historic building.
Florida lawmakers reacted Wednesday after angry Donald Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol in a chaotic protest. “There is nothing patriotic about what is occurring on Capitol Hill. This is 3rd world style anti-American anarchy,” Republican Sen. Marco Rubio tweeted. Fellow Sen. Rick Scott thanked law enforcement for protecting the lawmakers from the demonstrators while also condemning the violence. “Everyone.
