And this makes it the European Central bank in favor of largescale sovereign bond purchases. Ecb president mario draghi said the risk of deflation in the eurozone could not be entirely excluded. Within that statement, of course, and other events, the greek election now has less than three weeks to run, and europe is facing a turbulent start to the new year.
