HANCOCK The Copper Country ISD Career and Technical Education (CTE) Construction Technology class worked with the Houghton County Fair Board and the Timber Trails Riding Club to put together the new announcer’s booth at the horse ring on the fairgrounds equipped with much-needed storage.
The CCISD CTE programs appreciated the opportunity to work with the community on projects like this for the benefit of both the students and the organizations. Students in the CTE program gained real world building and problem-solving skills by putting together a quality project that both the fair, and those who utilize the grounds, will benefit from for years to come.
