Construction has already begun on a 148K SF retail space that will serve as the anchor tenant for the mixed-use development. The Grid is being developed by StreetLevel Investments and joint venture partner Provident Realty Advisors. Construction of the 192-acre mixed-use development began in 2018 and will be completed in multiple phases.  Some of the offerings include 350K SF of retail, restaurant and entertainment concepts; 2,400 residential units; 500K SF of creative office space; multiple hotel brands and concepts; a health club; a network of pocket parks, jogging and bike trails; and activated public space. Architecture firm Gensler and landscape architecture company TBG are consultants on the project.

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (February 19, 2021) – Due to the winter storms, all voting for The Woodlands Village Associations and Residential Design Review Committees has been moved to the week of Monday, February 22, 2021. Election Day is now scheduled for Saturday, February 27, 2021, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Convenience voting is scheduled for Monday, February 22, through Friday, February 26, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  All voting takes place at The Woodlands Township’s Town Hall building at 2801 Technology Forest Blvd., The Woodlands, Texas 77381. Convenience voting begins February 15 for Village Elections

The February 2021 Residential Design Review Committee and Village Association elections for The Woodlands Township have been set for Saturday, February 20, 2021, with convenience voting beginning on Monday, February 15, 2021.   Voting for contested positions on the Alden Bridge Residential Design Review Committee, Cochran’s Crossing Residential Design Review Committee, Creekside Park Village Association, Grogan’s Mill Village Association, and Indian Springs Village Association will take place at The Woodlands Township located at 2801 Technology Forest Blvd., The Woodlands, Texas, 77381.  All other Residential Design Review Committee and Village Association races were unopposed and, therefore, no voting will be held for those races.  Voting in the five contested races is open to residents of The Woodlands and property owners ages 18 and older in the respective villages.
