I think the reason why some of these have stuck around all the time, as youve said, theyre really politically intractable. But in some sense theres a reason for that, and maybe its not necessarily a bad thing. And if thats not what were trying to set up, a sort of superregulatory council that can sort of whackamole and bat down anything that is not the least trade restrictive model, thats where youre getting political pushback be.
