Forsyth Tech Middle College 11th and 12th graders are coming together to spread joy and positivity. School leaders said service learning is important, so they organized the idea to make posters and paint the city with positivity so students from clubs, Peace with a Purpose and Art Club are doing just that. I’m looking forward to putting these up all around the city, because someone maybe had a bad day at work, maybe they got fired or demoted and they’re feeling down and don’t know what to do and they look up at crosswalks or stop signs and see that someone, a random stranger put those up for you, 11th grader Ryan Phillips explained. Hundreds of laminated uplifting posters will flood the city of Winston-Salem thanks to students who are working through their own struggles of the past year and learning remotely.
