Write to our top story, we begin with the escalating violence in iraq. The military has stepped up attacks on the insurgents who captured large chunks of territory north of baghdad. Those militants have posted graphic images online that appeared to show them executing iraqi soldiers. The country is on the brink of civil war. The Iraqi Government is trying to fight back, reporting they have killed up to 300 militants, mostly using air power.
