A Henry County man was in court Wednesday where bond was set at $300,000 for numerous child porn charges. According to a release from the Illinois State Police, 22-year-old Frank R. Laughner was arrested for two counts of Dissemination of Child Pornography, a Class X felony. He also faces seven counts of Possession of Child Pornography, which is a Class 2 charge. A search warrant was executed on his residence in Orion following an investigation of child pornography and investigators seized evidence supporting the arrest of Laughner. The investigation remains open and ongoing. Assisting the investigation was the Illinois Attorney General's High-Tech Crimes Bureau, the Quad City Metropolitan Enforcement Group, the Henry County Sheriff's Office, and the Geneseo, and Colona Police Departments. A preliminary hearing for Laughner is scheduled for Monday, December 6, in Henry County Circuit Court.

STREATOR – A Streator man is facing child pornography charges after an investigation by multiple agencies. On Wednesday the Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation arrested 41-year-old Ryan P. Cook for two counts of Dissemination of Child Pornography, both Class X Felonies.
ISP Investigators, along with Peoria County Sheriff’s Department, US Secret Service, and the Illinois Attorney General’s High-Tech Crimes Bureau, executed a search warrant at Cook’s residence in the 400 block of West Grant Street, and allegedly located and observed child pornography being shared on multiple electronic devices leading to the arrest.
