randi, according to the timeline, it seems the suspect didn t buy his ammunition until the very morning of the shooting, right? reporter: right, anderson. if that timeline is correct, and we did get that from authorities, he allegedly bought his ammunition just before 7:30 a.m., and the shots went out at 10:10 a.m. that s when the gunfire started. so that is just about two hours and 40 minutes or so before the shooting that he would have been buying that ammunition. so really makes you wonder how long did he allegedly plan this, how far in advance or did something snap that morning that made him go to that safeway supermarket. there was also the incident earlier from allegedly that the father had seen him with a black bag that turned out to have ammunition in it, the one found later. we don t know, though, what time that was, whether if he lost his ammunition there, he then had to go out to buy other ammunition. reporter: right. it was some time they think that black bag and th
they re going to be able to test speech when the tube is out. obviously they can t test it, she can t talk. so that s going to be a big day, get that tube out, and say, you know, to say, say your name for me. if she says gabby giffords, that s going to be the similar sort of testing as far as motor commands, it s the same sort of thing for verbal. it will get more complicated after that, so that s going to be an important day. sanjay, appreciate it. sanjay, thanks. thank you. today the pima county sheriff s office released a detailed timeline of jared lee loughner s movements in the hours before he allegedly opened fire last saturday morning. it shows that the timeline shows loughner was up all night prior to the assault, that he was a man on the move, stopping at a walgreens, two walmarts, a couple of convenience stores. randi kaye retraced his steps. reporter: the night before the shooting, 11:35 p.m. friday, investigators tracking jared loughner s last steps, say he
graceland and biel street in memphis, tennessee. it s a quiet place most people drive past. but it was home for three 8-year-old boys named stevie branch, christopher buyers and michael more. they were best buddies. christopher started coming in to be friends, i m going to say, about a month or so before they passed away. but it was always davy and michael moore. on may 5th, 1993, the three boys went to school, came home, and went out to play. stevie branch s mother, pam hobbs, remembers it like it was yesterday. we wasn t home probably five or ten minutes when michael moore came over and asked if stevie could come and go ride bikes with him. and i was telling him, i said not today, son, i m getting ready for work, and i m cooking and all that, and, he and michael just kept begging, please, let me go, so like a lot
the various programs, you know, the key thing here is can you fiscally balance budgets or push towards balancing budgets, eliminate programs, you know, add some revenue without killing each other. it is interesting, it seems so juvenile, basically both sides saying, you started it, no, you started it. oh, absolutely, anderson. the whole thing is just nonsense on both sides. and i don t think either side does itself any favors when it goes either on the blogs or on tv or on websites and tries to accuse the other side without having any facts to back it up. it demeans all of us and it demeans the political discourse, and it doesn t get us to where we need to be, to president obama s point. we have huge problems that we need to try to solve. so i do think it s incumbent upon our leaders to give the example to all of us that we can live up to, but it s also incumbent upon all of us, on you, anderson, on you, ed, on myself, everybody who is part of this political discourse to try
