Christien kafton has been talking about officials and joins us live from San Francisco. Reporter more than 300 inmates are housed in jail here inside 850 bryant. The question is if the building is shut down becse it has been deemed seismically unsafe, where do those inmates go . No one argues the point that 850 bryant, San Franciscos hall of justice since the 1960s has got to go. The building declared seismically unsafe in the mid 1990s still houses the criminal court and the jail on the seventh floor. San francisco is debating what to do with the 300 inmates that the jail holds now that the mayor has called for the inmates to be rehoused july 2021. We have to close the jail.
