Reporter first were on storm watch. This morning, rain is moving throughout the bay area as we take a live look outside at the rain drops. Once again, we are looking at kind of scattered showers, a damp day. Taking a look, i can see we have bands of rain moving around this area of low pressure. Some of the heavy showers, a closer look at San Francisco shows the north bay seeing a moderate rain fall here. We have just to the south of mill valley, one to the north. Also weve got snow in the sierra. This is great news as this is opening day for a couple of ski resorts. A closer look shows definitely seeing some snow. A rain snow mix at the lower elevations. Heavy rain as you head imthat west slope of the see up that west slope of the sierra. A Winter Weather advisory in effect.
