Rutherford County School Resource Officer Writes Book to Change the World May 26, 2021 at 02:22 pm by WGNS Fourth grade artist Gabrielle Baron and SRO Chad Dodson show off the stuffed animals used to encourage students at Lascassas Elementary School. Gabrielle illustrated Dodson’s book, “Pancake and Friends” for the students. SRO Chad Dodson uses stuffed animals to encourage Lascassas Elementary School students to change the world. Dodson is so passionate about his lessons that he wrote a book titled, “Pancake and Friends.” Fellow School Resource Officer Kerry Nelson assisted with the book. It was illustrated by Lascassas 4th grade student Gabrielle Baron with guidance from art teacher Bonni Smith. The book arrived Wednesday.
