Today, in a dramatic development, charges were brought against a number of russians for their efforts to affect the outcome. The defendants allegedly conducted what they called Information Warfare against the united states. With the stated goal of spreading distrust towards the candidates and the political system in general. They used stolen or fictitious american identities, Fraudulent Bank accounts and false identification documents. The indictment says they had a strategic goal to sow discord in the us political system, including the 2016 us president ial elect
