Impatient with the shelter at home order the number of cases continues to grow. Take a look at this map right now. Santa clara county now reporting 2,200 cases. Contra costa county with 27 new cases. A total of 934 there. San mateo county also reporting new cases. More than 1,200 in total now. The bay area has about 8,400 cases, more than 300 people have died. Lets also look at the latest covid19 numbers statewide. You can see we now have more than 52,000 confirmed cases in california. 2,171 people have died because of the virus.
