Tiger Woods will tee it up this weekend for one last time in 2020, doing so with his son, Charlie, as his teammate in the PNC Championship.
The unofficial PGA Tour event from Orlando will feature 20 two-person teams, each consisting of one major or Players champion and a family member of their choice, playing a 36-hole scramble. Woods was a surprise addition to the field given his strict schedule, but according to Justin Thomas, who is also competing this week, it was Charlie pushing his dad to commit to the event.
Usually, the PNC Championship, formerly referred to as the father-son challenge, draws very little attention. But with Tiger and his 11-year-old son in action, there will be plenty of eyeballs on the December tournament.
