The deceased is a 65 year old male resident in Karandana. He died on 29.04.2021 while undergoing treatments in Base Hospital Horana. The cause of death is mentioned as COVID 19 Chest infection and Chronic Liver Disease.
02. The deceased is a 72 year old male resident in Awissawella. He was transferred from Kopai Covid Treatment Centre to Teaching Hospital Jaffna where he died on 30.04.2021. The cause of death is mentioned asacute coronary syndrome with heart failure complicated with COVID 19.

Colombo (News 1st); The Director General of Health Services confirmed five deaths caused by Covid-19 virus infection on Tuesday (21). Accordingly, the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 625.
01. The deceased is a
85 year old female resident in Mattakkuliya. She was diagnosed as infected with Covid 19 virus while undergoing treatments at National Hospital Colombo and transferred to Base Hospital Mulleriyawa where she died on 16.04.2021. The cause of death is mentioned as Heart failure with COVID 19 infection and Sepsis.

Seven new COVID-related deaths were reported in Sri Lanka today (April 16), the Director-General of Health Services confirmed.
The new development has pushed the country’s death toll from the pandemic outbreak to 615.
1. The deceased is a 69-year-old male resident in Pasyala. He died on 14.04.2021 while undergoing treatments at National Hospital Colombo. The cause of death is mentioned as Covid-19 infection, chronic kidney disease, diabetes, heart disease and asthma.
2. The deceased is a 76-year-old male resident in Rathnapura. He was diagnosed as infected with Covid-19 virus while undergoing treatments at Teaching Hospital Rathnapura and transferred to Base Hospital Mulleriyawa where he died on 15.04.2021. The cause of death is mentioned as Covid pneumonia, acute respiratory distress syndrome, chronic kidney disease and heart disease.
