the american dream, fixing education, don t miss it. fareed, many thanks. now this welcome back. let s begin hour two. three and a half hours for the jury deliberating the case against michael jackson s doctor. also there is a new jobs report out there if greece worries you, wait until you hear about italy. all of that plus, a civil rights legend has advice for the occupy wall street movement. let s play reporter roulette on this friday. i want to begin with ted rolands in los angeles, outside that courtroom. quite a little bit of a scene, i guess, behind you there, ted. any news? any other news from the jury room? reporter: well, the big breaking news, brooke, they have taken their lunch break. the jurors, they have deliberated now, as you mentioned, about three and a half hours and during the deliberation, they did ask for some evidence, so, a big box of evidence was brought back to the jury room, they are obviously doing something back there they are going over the

we re talking in depth tonight about the next big showdown between the white house and republicans in congress. president obama expected to lay out his budget-cutting approach on wednesday this week. there s a republican outline already on the table with major spending cuts and changes eliminating medicare, replacing it with government vouchers to buy private health insurance. but before any of that is decided there is the debt ceiling vote. back now with david gergen, and joining us cnn contributor and democratic pollster who worked for the obama campaign and will again in 2012, cornel belcher. also dana loesch, cnn contributor, tea party organizer, and editor of bigjournalism.com. so cornel, president obama had hoped for what they call a clean bill on this debt ceiling, a bill without riders that the republicans would put in. he s not going to get that. no, i don t think he s going to get it. it s going to be another battle.
absolutely necessary to move our country in the right direction. mr. shelton, when you hear mr. scott make this case, that he s been at these rallies, he is supported by tea party movement supporters, and i maybe there s one or two or three people there, but it is not rampant, as you suggest. what s your answer? i d have to agree with him in many ways. he s actually agreeing with us. we re actually saying exactly what he s saying, that when these kind of incidents happen at these rallies, that it is up to the tea party organizer, those in leadership, to repudiate, to separate themselves from those kinds of people but mr. scott mr. scott just did repudiate them. that s exactly we want to see the other tea party members do as well. there are six tea party constructs we had a problem earlier so let s mr. scott into the conversation the democratic party ought to repudiate all members of the klan that have served as part of
ron paul did match romney, just a tad behind him. i think pat s right. it s a very powerful message, especially people on the right of center. that s what you re seeing with respect to paul s doing very well, but i also think that i had a friend who just came back from china and brought back a canister of tea. he said, open it up. you put it in water and this blossom comes out. kind of like a flower. it s really startling. kind of wilts after about two minutes and i think the tea party s had their exciting moments. and i think they re really going to fire up the left. you re going to have a very exciting sarah said, i can see november from my front porch. thank you both very much. up next, former house speaker and tea party organizer,
