One person was killed and another was hurt in a one-vehicle crash in Pinch, Kanawha County, on Jan. 29, 2024. A 9-year-old girl was killed and another child injured after a pickup truck struck a guardrail on Church Road near Pinch and tumbled down an embankment shortly after 11 a.m. on Monday.
The truck came to rest on its side along North Pinch Road, a short distance from its intersection with Church Road, according to the Kanawha County Sheriff s Department. The driver of the vehicle was not seriously injured.
