Volleyball: Cox Mill clinches 3A West regional championship with three-set win over T.C. Roberson

Concord, N.C. Cox Mill has advanced to the 3A state championship volleyball match following its three-set win on Tuesday.
The Chargers were victorious 25-16, 25-20, and 25-20 over T.C. Roberson in the 3A western regional final. Cox Mill last played for a state title in 2016 and capped off its 34-0 season by sweeping Chapel Hill.
Prior to the match, seniors Raven Gray and Robin Rosser were leading the Chargers’ attack. Gray has a team-high 100 kills in 27 sets played, while Rosser follows with 84 kills across 26 sets. Ava Douglas, a senior setter, has recorded 577 assists (16.0 per set) during the abbreviated campaign. Other statistics highlights for Cox Mill include senior middle blocker Yasmine Parker with 24 total blocks and senior libero Jadyn Webb with 64 digs.
