A human rights activist and former president of the Civil Liberties Organisation, Ayo Obe, has urged the defence counsels of the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, to go beyond seeking bail for him and ensure that his case is pursued to a logical conclusion. Obe noted that she also did not think that the “United Nations Working Group” that purportedly ordered the Nigerian government to release Nnamdi Kanu from detention was affiliated with the UN.
