In boston, the city is the epicenter of two storms which could break bostons alltime snowstorm record of 27. 6 inches. The storm is really hitting new england especially hard. This was Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick earlier today. I have signed an executive order banning vehicle traffic effective at 4 00 today. This is going to be a very serious weather event if we get the amount of snow forecast, the recovery will be slow, people should prepare for that. This is thought to be the first time such a travel ban has been instituted in massachusetts since 1978. Right now, there are the numbers. There are more than 191,000 Power Outages in massachusetts alone. Rhode island experiencing about 122,000 as a result of the storm. Connecticut more than 34,000.
