In boston, the city is the epicenter of two storms which could break bostons alltime snowstorm record of 27. 6 inches. Up and down the northeastern coast, between 1 and 3 feet of snow is expected to fall. Forecasters warned of blizzard conditions including wind gusts of up to 75 Miles Per Hour. This could cause widespread Power Outages this evening. The National Guard was activated in states of connecticut, massachusetts, new york, of course to help with emergency management. This is going to be a very serious weather event if we get the amount of snow forecast, the recovery will be slow, people should prepare for that. This is thought to be the first time such a travel ban has been instituted in massachusetts since 1978. Right now, there are the numbers. There are more than 191,000 Power Outages in massachusetts alone. Rhode island experiencing about 122,000 as a result of the storm. Connecticut more than 34,000.
