TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The 24th-ranked Florida State Women’s Basketball team finished its regular-season home schedule in style, honoring its four-member senior class with an 80-66 win over Georgia Tech on Sunday afternoon at the Tucker Center.
The Seminoles (22-7, 11-5) honored seniors Valencia Myers, Erin Howard, Taylor O’Brien and Jazmine Massengill prior to Sunday’s game. Freshman Ta’Niya Latson then did a takeover of her own when she dropped 31 points on 10-of-16 shooting, her school-record seventh 30-point game of the season and her second this season vs. the Yellow Jackets (13-14, 4-12).

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Florida State fought through a tough Syracuse team to claim back-to-back victories against the Orange for the first time since 2015, winning 78-65 on Thursday night at the Tucker Center. The win also elevates them to 10 conference wins for the eighth consecutive season.
Erin Howard got the night started with a three from distance on the first possession, that along with some signature Ta’Niya Latson drives to the basket forced Syracuse coach Felisha Legette-Jack into an early timeout. Syracuse regained some ground and briefly held the lead before Makayla Timpson leaped over the Orange players in the paint for the offensive board and converted the tough layup. The first ten went by with a 24-17 Noles lead.
