No. 23 UW-Whitewater split their doubleheader against No. 20 UW Oshkosh in a matchup of two of Division III softball’s nationally ranked teams. The WIAC rivals delivered an entertaining series for both fan bases alike. The Titans delivered a dominating 13-2 win in five innings after forcing the run-ahead rule, while the Warhawks won 6-5.
The task force has until February to recommend whether the Minnesota Legislature should make the Met Council an elected body or adopt other changes in governance.
After the original home opener was canceled due to rain the Warhawks were finally able to open up WIAC play with a doubleheader against UW-Platteville.Coming fresh off of two wins against Rockford University the Warhawks would end up winning two cose games against Platteville winning game one 4-3 and game two 5-4. Platteville would start.
