Centenary Stage Company Presents World Premiere of Darrah Cloud s TURNING Turning is the story of a group of women from Newark, NJ who began to train in backyard gyms for what would become the experience of a lifetime, the 1936 Olympics.by BWW News Desk Centenary Stage Company will open the World Premiere production of Turning by Darrah Cloud Thursday, February 25 at 7:30 PM with performances running in the Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center until March 7. Centenary Stage Company will also offer a Live Stream option for the Sunday, February 28 2:00 PM performance. Massive storm could bring 12 inches of rain, flooding to SLO County Lindsey Holden, The Tribune (San Luis Obispo, Calif.) Jan. 26 Under bright blue skies Tuesday, residents across San Luis Obispo County prepared for a major winter storm to hit the the Central Coast on Wednesday, bringing up to a foot of rain, high winds and potential flooding and power outages. Rain and gusting winds are expected to hit the county starting early Wednesday morning and continuing through Thursday, said John Lindsey, PG&E meteorologist, in his Tuesday forecast. Other forecasts showed rain arriving as early as Tuesday night. Lindsey projects the county will receive at least 6 to 10 inches of rain, with gusting winds that could reach 70 mph.
