TPSO: Three arrested for burglary of power substation

Sheriff Tim Soignet states that Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies arrested three individuals with Simple Burglary of a Sleca Power substation on Coteau Rd.
Sheriff Soignet advised that at approximately 4:30am on January 5, 2021, Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office patrol responded to the burglary in the 2000 block of Coteau Rd where it was discovered that a large amount of copper wire had been stolen and company vehicles had been burglarized as well. Deputies arrived and observed two subjects running to the wooded area. These subjects were able to evade arrest at that time.

Three people were arrested after burglarizing a SLECA power substation in , authorities said.
Jordan Price Sr., 37, is charged with simple burglary and criminal trespass. Christopher Authement, 32, is charged with failure to appear in court, illegal possession of stolen things and simple burglary. Taylor Chauvin, 27, is charged with failure to appear in court and principal to simple burglary, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies responded to a break-in around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday on the 2000 block of Coteau Road, where a large amount of copper wire and been stolen and company vehicles had been burglarized, authorities said.
