LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - McNeese softball got offensive production throughout its lineup here Wednesday night and used a four-run fourth inning on its way to a 7-1 win over Louisiana Tech.
McNeese (18-19) outhit La. Tech (13-16) 9-5 and got at least one hit from eight different players along with solid pitching from Saleen Flores and Ashley Vallejo who combined to pick up the win.
Toni Perrin led McNeese at the plate with a 2 for 4 plate appearance, three stolen bases, and scored two runs.
McNeese softball gave 12th ranked UL-Lafayette all it could handle Wednesday night before Justice Milz’s three-run home run in the sixth gave the Cajuns a 5-4 lead and the eventual win.
