A number of volunteers jumped at the chance to win at a polling station on election day. We have 4,800 people who have volunteering for the 1,700 spots. Napa county is looking for pandemic prevention volunteers. Controlling the flow of the voters making sure we dont get overcrowded. Poll workers are getting trained on how to handle a voter who wants to vote in person and refuses to wear a mask. We will bring the voting to them. If a voter chooses not to wear a mask while voting and insists on voting in person, that person will be asked to wait outside of a voting location. Until staff inside can rearrange furniture and set up a booth safely wa from others. Well wipe it down and sterilize it for the next voter. Election officials can be counting votes for two weeks after election day. Ballots postmarked by election day will be counted as long as they arrive by november 20.
