How much can you claim from Blind Person’s Allowance?
For the 2020/2021 tax year, the Blind Person’s Allowance is £2,500 which means this is added to your personal allowance meaning a total of £15,000 overall.
In the 2021/2022 tax year Blind Person’s Allowance is due to rise to £2,520.
This means in total, the Blind Person’s Allowance and personal tax-free allowance will be £15,090.
