The thread of wildfire is not over everywhere. Good evening. Pg e started checking their equipment today but high winds kept them from reaching many areas. Here are the latest numbers, they have cut power to 345,000 customers in Northern California but by 6 pm they restored power to more than 100,000 of those customers. They hope to have everybodys power back on by tomorrow night. The feeling among many is the bay area dodged a bullet here. Reporter it is a big relief, tonight there was a update, a say in some places the wind gusts were 89 Miles Per Hour and the inspectors did find places where trees blew into power lines and they say they could have sparked fires.
