A Dhaka court today sentenced a student of Dhaka City College to jail until death and five others to life term imprisonment for killing Ayaz Haq, a student of Government Laboratory High School, in 2014.
Injamamul Islam alias Jisan was sentenced to jail until death while Tauhidul Islam, Mashiur Rahman Araf, Tauhidul Islam Shuvo, Abu Saleh MdNasim and Arif Hossain Regan got life term.
Judge Md Iqbal Hossain of the Special Judge Court-5 of Dhaka handed down the sentence in presence of Jisan and Tauhidul at a packed courtroom; rest of the convicts are absconding.
