Milton Keynes primary school closes canteen after member of catering team tests positive for Covid

Some pupils are already having to stay at home and self isolate after another case was identified among a classroom group on Monday. The new case came to light after a member of the catering team took a lateral flow test. It has yet to be confirmed by a PCR test. Covid testing But already the school has opted to abandon food due to be cooked today shut down the canteen completely. In a notice to parents, the school said: One of our catering team who works in the school kitchens has tested positive this morning.

Milton Keynes residents age 60-plus urged to get COVID-19 vaccine

In the latest stage of the vaccination programme, the NHS is now inviting all those aged 60 or over to get a life-saving COVID-19 vaccination.
