Oil suppliers fear the sanctions Washington has imposed on Belnautakhim.

Russian companies may stop supplying raw materials to Naftan, oil and gas market expert
Tatsiana Manionak believes: Surgutneftegaz and Rosneft will start cutting supplies to Belarus Naftan in May. If it is supported by other major oil companies, it will mean bitter trials not only for Naftan, but for the entire oil refining industry.
The suppliers are afraid of being affected by sanctions, which Washington will impose on Belnautakhim on June 3, Reuters reports. The chemical giants Hrodna Azot and Hrodna Khimvalakno are also on the black list. The ban on transactions with them was in force from 2008 to 2015. Russian oil companies can stop deliveries to Naftan because of the U.S. sanctions. Russian companies are not directly affected by the restrictive measures, but they are concerned that they may be punished if they continue cooperation with the Belarusian enterprises. Washington has withdrawn U.S. permits for some transactions with nine subsanctioned Belarusian state-owned enterprises, including the Naftan plant and its owner, Belnautakhim.
