The New York Times reports that american officials intercepted electronic data showing large financial transfers from a bank account controlled by russias military intelligence agency, to a talibanlinked account, according to three officials familiar with the intelligence. And the times also notes that investigators identified the names of numerous afghans in a network linked to the operation, including a man believed to have served as an intermediary, in the distribution of money. Afghan officials also confirmed that over the past six months they have arrested several businessmen, suspected of being part of a ring of middle men who, quote, operate between the Russian Intelligence Agency and talibanlinked militants. As soon as they can, at which point the Convention Center in madrid, spain, will be one of the largest hospitals in the entire world. Heres the New York Times international chart of where countries are at in their epidemics right now. This shows the death rates, the deaths over time in various countries. China, of course, is the country that has had this crisis the longest. Thats their Long Navy Blue line there. They obviously had a ton of deaths. That scaled up rapidly, but they have since flattened out their death rate drastically. You see italy up there in the top in europe with the Worst Epidemic now and the worst one by far in europe. Then you see spain close on italys heels. And if you look at the curve for spain, its just on an incredibly steep curve. The total deaths in spain are doubling every three days. And you know what .
