NEW DELHI: Tata Motors has roped in Marc Llistosella as chief executive officer (CEO) and managing director of the company effective 1 July 2021.
Llistosella will replace current CEO Guenter Butschek, who had expressed his desire to relocate to Germany at the end of the contract for personal reasons. Butschek has accepted the request of the board of Tata Motors to continue as the MD & CEO until 30 June 30 2021.
Llistosella is currently a member of Einride s board of directors. Most recently, he was the president and CEO of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation between 2015 and 2018, where he worked on improving the profitability and sales potential of the business. Prior to that, he was based in India between 2008 and 2014 as the MD and CEO of Daimler Commercial Vehicles India where he built a greenfield organisation and
