keep them in buckets. these plants can survive very well during three seasons but they ve got to go indoors in greenhouses for the winter. you ve got to trick em. you ve got to produce what they think is the rainy season. we ship 10 pounds out of just recently to japan. we ship it out to seattle. and alaska. we open up our first retail location and now we have our second one. and between those retail locations and our mobile food truck, that s how we really introduce folks so they can take georgia grown coffee home. people come in and we give them a choice not only from different coffees around the world but we give them a choice of trying something that s grown right here where they live. that s the success. right there is in that cup. tasting coffee that we were told can t be done. we re doing it. and i m drinking it.
light coffee. and 40% of those, that s what s missing for them. so 40% of the customers are saying we want more blond coffee. so i m going to have you be one of those 40% customers. so we re going to smell it first. okay. what should i be looking for? what you re looking for in blond roast versus other coffees you ve probably smelled before is exactly, it s not as roasty. so the roast flavor, the roast aroma, is really just supporting the coffee flavor. okay. so if you smell the medium roast you ll start to get more of a roasty aroma. and the second step of tasting coffee is slurping it. i m going to give you an example my dad used to do this at the breakfast table and we would always get on him. but it s actually coffee etiquette to slurp? yes. for tasting the coffee. not at the dinner table probably. we re going to go ahead and slurp. wow. okay. i don t think i slurped it correctly. no, that was great.

i tried. and now slurp the second coffee. slurp the medium roast. and what does slurp do? besides sound terribly you re aerating. you want to make sure remember that through the nose is where you get most flavor. not through your tongue. so we want to slurp it across to aerate your palate, to make sure you got the full experience. so we smell, we slurp, and then everybody has a different geography of our palate. so how does that play into so you re going to identify where are you reacting to the coffee. with the blond roast you re going to be reacting as higher acidity, lower body. so you re going to be getting it more on the sides of your tongues because that s where you re going to react to acidity. whereas the dark roast you actually drink it differently. yeah. it will feel different. so if you try the dark roast, it ll be more body. so you re going to feel the weight of the body. not acidity. so you won t get much reaction on the side of your tongue. how d
