YOUNGSTOWN The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information that would lead to the capture of Abdul Muhammad, 29, of Youngstown, who is wanted for a Nov. 19 murder.
Muhammad is charged in Youngstown Municipal Court with aggravated murder in the shooting death of Marquis Bebbs, 35.
Police found Bebbs just before 2 a.m. Nov. 19, 2020, at South and East Lucius avenues while responding to a ShotSpotter notification, which alerts the Youngstown Police Department of gunfire on the city’s South Side.
Youngstown police Detective Sgt. Chad Zubal said the two men were involved in an altercation before the shooting. Police think the altercation took place in the parking lot of the Coconut Grove tavern, 3229 South Ave., which is near the location where Bebbs was found.
