During the discussion, Managing Founder and Director of Pheto Music and Film Academy, Kashito Kiba, said that many youngsters and artistes are growing in the Nagaland music industry. Kohima, Aug. 9 (EMN): ‘Art Residency,’ an art exhibition organised jointly organised by Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA) and Art for Change Foundation, New Delhi, was unveiled on Tuesday at the Regional Centre of Excellence for Music and Performing Arts (RCEMPA) in Jotsoma under Kohima district. The exhibition displayed various artworks of the seven visual artists from within and outside the state, who are part of the residency programme. Speaking on the occasion as guest of honour, advisor of Youth Resources and Sports, Zale Neikha, stated that under the visionary leadership of the state chief minister, Neiphiu Rio, various successful programmes have been undertaken for promoting and guiding the youth. Our Correspondent Kohima, Aug. 2 (EMN): A nine-day-long ‘Art Residency,’ organised by Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA) and Art for Change Foundation, commenced at the Regional Centre of Excellence for Music and Performing Arts (RCEMPA) in Jotsoma on Tuesday. While the intention for holding the art residency is to create a cross-cultural experience, it also seeks to create a space for important conversations through artists’ works which they would be producing in the next few days.
