A 17-year-old was arrested Friday in the shooting death of a woman Monday in Boston s Dorchester neighborhood.
Police say 19-year-old Tasjahnaya Dance of Dorchester was shot and killed early Monday afternoon on the intersection of Bowdoin Avenue and Washington Street. Around 6:45 a.m. Friday, police say, a 17-year-old male from Dorchester was arrested and charged with murder. His identity was not released.

Albert Brown, 17, was ordered held without bail at his arraignment on Friday on charges he shot Tasjahnaya Dance to death at Bowdoin and Washington street in Dorchester on Jan. 22, the Suffolk County District Attorney s office reports.
Dance was shot repeatedly around 12:40 p.m. Responding officers found her lying on the ground; Boston EMS transported her to Boston Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
The DA s office reports multiple surveillance cameras in the area helped lead detectives to Brown. In addition to murder, he was charged with unlawful possession of a loaded firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building.

A 17-year-old male has been charged with murder for the shooting death of a 19-year-old woman at a busy Dorchester intersection last month, officials said.
Albert Brown was charged in the death of Tasjahnaya Dance, an aspiring musician who was fatally shot at Washington and Bowdoin streets in the Four Corners area at lunchtime on Jan. 22, the office of Suffolk District Attorney Rachael Rollins said in a statement.

Boston Police this weekend released images of a man they want to find in connection to the murder of a 19-year-old Dorchester woman who was shot to death near Four Corners on Jan. 22.
The unidentified male is wanted “in connection” to the murder of Tasjahnaya Dance, who police found shot multiple times in the area of Bowdoin Avenue and Washington Street in Dorchester. The incident happened around 12:40 p.m.
One day after 19-year-old Tasjahnaya Dance of Dorchester was shot dead in broad daylight, the Boston Police Department has released several pictures of a person investigators are trying to identify.
