KUALA BERANG - Enam sekeluarga yang tinggal di sebuah rumah bot rosak di Tasik Kenyir, Hulu Terengganu akan berpindah ke rumah sementara disediakan oleh Lembaga Kemajuan Terengganu Tengah (Ketengah).
Shamsuddin Khalid, 45, ketika ditemui pemberita pada Ahad berkata, dia akan berpindah ke sebuah rumah kosong di kuarters pekerja Ketengah di Lawit dalam tempoh dua atau tiga hari lagi. Terima kasih banyak kepada Ketengah atas keprihatinan terhadap kami sekeluarga. Kami akan tinggal di sini sementara menunggu rumah yang dibina melalui Projek Perumahan Rakyat Termiskin (PPRT) siap sepenuhnya pada Oktober depan, katanya.

KUALA NERUS: Eleven iconic Asean landmarks will be placed on the seabed of Pulau Bidong, Terengganu under the 1st Asean Underwater Mini Landmark special project.
Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister, Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri said the project, managed by the National Heritage Department (JWN) in collaboration with Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), would be launched between June 15 to 19, in conjunction with the Asean Seminar on the Preservation and Protection of Underwater Cultural Heritage.
“The project estimated to cost RM265,000 (USD 70,000) and to be financed by the Asean Cultural Fund, is a cultural project that will act as a knowledge sharing and cultural exchange platform for Asean countries.

KUALA TERENGGANU: The public is advised not to panic over rumours circulating on social media that there was a case of a positive Covid-19 visitor at Tasik Kenyir, Hulu Terengganu on March 12.
Central Terengganu Development Authority (Ketengah) chairman Datuk Razali Idris said that the man was in fact only a close contact of a Covid-19 patient and had no symptoms that could be linked to the infection.
“I was informed by Tasik Kenyir Tourism Association chairman, Zalani Endut, that the man was required to undergo a health screening at the Hulu Terengganu Hospital after his wife, who was at home, tested positive for Covid-19, yesterday.
