LEH, Jan 16: A sanitation worker at Ladakh Heart Foundation was the first person to be administered COVID-19 vaccine in the Union Territory of Ladakh where Lieutenant Governor R K Mathur inaugurated the first phase of the inoculation drive this morning.
District Immunization Officer (DIO) and Media Incharge Dr Tashi Namgyal said a total of 79 healthcare workers were given first shot of Covishield vaccine against the target of 90 on Day one of vaccination drive today.
