The police in Katsina, Northwest Nigeria on Tuesday repelled 25 terrorists at Karo village. The village is in Tsabe Tuge Ward, in the Musawa Local Government Area of the state. The police operatives also rescued five kidnap victims and recovered 86 sheep, 43 cows, two donkeys and three motorcycles from the terrorists. The state police command in a statement said that it received a distress call from the village on Tuesday at about 5 pm that some terrorists were shooting sporadically with AK-47s.
