Mrs Wynne described how she heard an officer say, “Taser, Taser, Taser”. She told the court how he saw the man, who she now knows to be Atkinson, walking out of Ernest Atkinson’s home as police officers arrived.  She told Birmingham Crown Court that a young man appeared at the door and was “aggressive” as he walked towards Pc Monk and Pc Bettley-Smith.  Mrs Wynne’s window was slightly ajar as she and her husband watched the incident unfold.  She told the jury how she heard Atkinson say twice: “Do you know who you’re speaking to?” He watched Atkinson get floored by the Taser having walked back and forth from the car he arrived in to his father’s house.
