The joint team nabbed absconding accused Raju Khan 56, a native of West Bengal. He was brought here on transit remand, said Additional Superintendent of Police City Tarkeshwar Patel.Khan was absconding since his name surfaced in the case, he said.

Police have cracked a 10-year-old murder case after an accused during a casual conversation with a friend told him that he had killed a man in Raipur in 2011, an official said on Sunday.
After getting the lead, the police on Friday arrested the main accused, identified as Santosh Yadav alias Ghanshyam, 30, and his associate Lokesh Yadav, 32, Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Tarkeshwar Patel said.

The Chattisgarh Police solved a decade-old murder after the accused admitted to a friend that he had killed a man in 2011, PTI reported.
The case pertains to the murder of Lekhram Sen (40), a resident of Kosrangi village, whose body was found in a field in the neighbouring Farhada village back in January 2011.

RAIPUR: Police have cracked a 10-year-old murder case after an accused during a casual conversation with a friend told him that he had killed a man in Raipur in 2011, an official said on Sunday.
