Lecture for people with special needs sheds light on Ramadan s virtue

The Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs organised a l e c t u r e through video conference on “ T h e condition of the righteous ancestors in the Holy month of R a m a d a n ” .
The lecture was delivered by Sheikh Osman Yusef Muhammad Ahmed, a graduate of the H i g h e r Institute of Islamic Studies in Sudan and a member of the association.
During the lecture, Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs, renewed his congratulations on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, wishing that the month to be blessed for everyone, with goodness, and blessings.

Doha: The Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs (QSRSN), in cooperation with the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC), organised a psychological awareness lecture entitled ‘Mental health for people with special needs and their families in light of the COVID-19 crisis’.
Hajar Al Omari, a psychologist in the Psychological Support Clinic at Al Wajba Health Center delivered the lecture virtually through Microsoft-Teams.
The lecture dealt with several aspects related to mental health, pressures and psychological problems that are expected to occur for people with disabilities and their families during the COVID-19 crisis, especially with the social distancing and isolation imposed on different societies.
