MUMBAI: Two workers sustained burn injuries after a fire broke out in a drug manufacturing company in Maharashtra s Palghar district on Saturday morning.
The fire broke out at the Bajaj Healthcare Private Limited’s plot N-126 in Tarapur at around 11.30am.
Two fire tenders reached the spot and managed to douse the blaze before it could spread to neighbouring units.
Boisar MIDC fire brigade officer Manish Sawant said preliminary investigations suggest that a spark due to static electricity could have caused the fire.
The officials from the Directorate of Industrial Safety and Health (DISH), Vasai will submit its report on the cause of the fire.
