Some North Shore residents are growing increasingly concerned about the risk of fire posed by trees downed by post-tropical storm Fiona, including those in Prince Edward Island National Park.
Staff at P.E.I. National Park say there's still plenty of work to do, but most of the park will be open and ready for visitors for the 2023 tourism season. They're looking at long-term planning, which will see a retreat from the coast.
The Prince Edward Island National Park will reopen to visitors for the 2023 season, but people will notice dramatic changes to the shoreline and infrastructure because of damage from post-tropical storm Fiona.
